New Traditions

Drought and fire have taken over most of Texas, resulting in burn bans all over the state. Due to these burn bans, the traditonal bonfire Woodson students have every Homecoming is not allowed. However, there will be a new sport taking its place at Woodson ISD.
On October 13, 2011 at 7:30, after the High School Boys Peprally, the WHS girls will be playing Powderpuff football. The highschool girls have been split up into two teams; the Gridiron Goddesses and the Hustlin' Hotties. There will be tailgating with food and beverages before the game and we welcome all to come and participate. Hopefully, this will be the start of a new tradition for WHS Homecoming.
