The Woodson Cowboys are back and ready for a new season. The Cowboys have seen some old faces and new ones as well. The Cowboys have four freshmen along with one new coach and four new players. Coach Kade Kittley has come to help Coach Richard Sullivan and Coach Andy Hope lead the boys to victory. Freshman Bryce Hill, Caleb Kinyon, Derrick Robles, and Jacob Smith as well as new players Seniors Jimmy Abner, Alan Lee, Sophmores Brandon Arellano and Tyler Brooks have become part of the team in a hurry. Coach Kittley, Coach Sullivan, and Coach Hope are wasting no time turning the Cowboys into a number one team. Along with the new additions to the team, they are getting better each week and are playing as one. The Cowboys also have great leadership from the upperclassmen. Every player is a major asset to the team. The Cowboys are growing together and showing great promise.
New year, new coach, new team, new challenges. Coach Lauren Peacock is getting the girls ready for their competitive volleyball season. The volleyball team has played a couple of tournaments, several non-district games and two district games against Newcastle and Perrin-Whit Graford, Poolville, and Bryson are the other teams the Cowgirls will be playing during district play this season.
