Teacher Spotlight: Kris Hise

Kristopher Todd Hise was born in 1986, in Hamlin. He grew up in Aspermont, and graduated from Aspermont High School in 2005. Hise attended Howard College in Big Spring graduating in December 2006 with an Associates Degree. He graduated from Angelo State University in December 2008 with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Criminal Justice. In his free time he likes participating in team roping; he trained and owns 7 horses. He also loves being in the gym playing basketball. He recently move to Woodson, Texas, to be the assistant coach.

He began his teaching duties January 5, 2009. He coached his first game on January 2nd. He came to teach and coach at Woodson because he heard that it was a good school and because there was a job opening. He teaches sixth grade science, seventh grade health, world geography, economics, and a TAKS class. His academic goal for the school year is for everyone to pass the TAKS test. 

His coaching duties include head girls' basketball, junior varsity boys' basketball, girls' track coach, assistant football, and assistant varsity boys' basketball, and his goal is to improve players for next year.
